I can't believe that we have already decorated for Halloween and Autumn. Now we are working on our Halloween costumes. Even Mom is going to dress up - she will be at the LDS Business College on the 31st.
We are so excited for Steve. He will be starting school next week. We even bought him new school shoes and pants and a back-pack. He will be attending the Utah College of Massage Therapy. Steve has even started reading and studying my anatomy text books from BYU.
We know that he will be an excellent student.
Back in September Mom and I went to a BYU home game and loved it. Mom even walked up all the stairs and stayed for the whole game - which we won!!!
The Sunday before General Conference, our ward had our Primary Program. Now that I am the Primary President - I was nervous, but my prayers paid off. The children did a great job and you could really feel the Holy Spirit there, helping us to feel the love of our Savior. It was wonderful. Of course I was very grateful for my two daughters. Allysen had a big part and did a wonderful job. Madeline almost had her part memorized and then we had to hand her another part because one child was not going to be there. Mattie was amazing and read it like a pro.
I really like being the Primary President. I have a wonderful Presidency and the children are amazing. The future of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is in good hands!

July 4th

We had a lot of fun on July 4th. We had the girls and they helped us paint our hallway and they did a very good job. Mom made home-made ice cream with Soy Milk and it really tasted good. We had some neighbors over for ice cream and fireworks. The girls mother, Janet, came over as well and we all had an enjoyable time. Bella did not want anything to do with our personal fireworks, she hid in the house and then had to sleep with me and Steve that night. She was just shaking, poor thing. The best part of the weekend was watching the Taylorsville City fireworks on the 3rd of July. We were able to watch them from our picture window in the great room...in our air conditioned home and with out the bugs - it was really nice. I will add some pictures as soon as I can.

June 28th

Well, today was the day of the South Salt Lake City Freedom Festival Parade. As usual, Steve was asked to be the Elvis Presley Impersonator. This year Steve threw out flowers to the older Ladies near the Rest Homes on the parade rought, the Ladies just loved it. We will have to bring more flowers next year - we ran out. As usal, I rode on the flat bed with him, keeping him hydrated, maning the music and throwing candy out to the crowds. It was wonderful. Mom took the girls and they enjoyed the show. It all started in 2004 right after Steve and I got married. He won a t-shirt by singing an Elvis song, then the following year they asked him to be in the parade and he did (but no singing). Then in 2006 they found a flat bed truck with a sound system and he has been singing ever since. As much as he would tell you that it is not fun, he really does have a great time and can't wait to do it again next year. I will add some pictures from years past and current as soon as I can.

Getting Started

Well I am just now getting started. I figure this is the best way to reach out to everyone.
We hope everyone is having a great start to their Summer - we are.
